It is with great joy that for the eighth consecutive year Davidoff have added a new instalment to their Zodiac series based on the Chinese zodiac calendar. This November, just ahead of the Chinese New Year, we usher in the Year Of The Rat!

With only 10,000 boxes of 10 cigars being produced for worldwide distribution, the cigar itself comes in a 6x52 toro vitola that utilises an Ecuadorian habano wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The Nicaraguan binder and blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican filler tobaccos intertwine woody, earthy notes of dark chocolate and roasted coffee.

The cigars are packaged in ornate boxes adorned with red and gold, two revered colours in China, as well as simple but elegant imagery of the particular animal being venerated. Altogether a very typically Davidoff degree of sophistication of taste and creative packaging!
